- The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a work session October 28, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Utah. 1. Roll Call 2. Discussion Items: a. Planning and Zoning Ordinance Review - Commercial Zones Discussion regarding a proposed ordinance entitled: 'An Ordinance Amending Chapter 10 of Title 10 of the Mount Pleasant Municipal Code to Revise the Commercial Zoning Regulations to Remove Stand-Alone Residential Uses as a Permitted Use, Update Code References, and Modernize Terms.' b. Planning and Zoning Ordinance Review - Medium-High Density Residential Overlay Zone Discussion regarding a proposed ordinance entitled: 'An Ordinance Amending Chapter 16 of Title 10 of the Mount Pleasant Municipal Code to Establish a Medium-High Density Residential Overlay Zone.' c. Planning and Zoning Ordinance Review - Planned Unit Development Overlay Zone Discussion regarding a proposed ordinance entitled: 'An Ordinance Amending and Restating in Its Entirety Section 030, Chapter 16 of Title 10 of the Mount Pleasant Municipal Code to Amend the Planned Unit Development Overlay Zone.' d. Planning and Zoning Ordinance Review - Detached Accessory Dwelling Units Discussion regarding a proposed ordinance entitled: 'An Ordinance Amending Chapter 18 of Title 10 of the Mount Pleasant Municipal Code to Include a New Section Establishing Regulations for Detached Accessory Dwelling Units.' 3. Adjourn In Accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) this facility is wheelchair accessible and handicap parking is available.
