PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Gunnison City Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on September 28, 2022, at 7:00pm in the City Council chambers of City Hall, located at 38 West Center Street.
The purpose of this hearing is to review Code Amendments Regarding 1) Fee References in the Administrative Manual (Chapter 14) and 2) City Floodplain Mitigation Standards.
1. The wording in Chapter 14 indicates fees for Land Use Applications are listed in Chapter 14. The proposed amendment clarifies that the fees are listed in the city's fee schedule.
2. The city's Floodplain Mitigation Standards were adopted in 2012 but not codified as part of the land use and development codes. The proposed amendment will insert the floodplain standards into the development code and clarify review processes relating to flood hazard areas.
The public is welcome to attend and provide comments at the hearing.
