- CENTRAL WASATCH COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA MONDAY, JUNE 3, 2019, 4:00PM COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS 2277 East Bengal Boulevard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah A. OPENING i. Commissioner Chris McCandless will conduct the meeting as Chair of the CWC. ii. The Commission will consider approving the meeting minutes of Monday, May 6, 2019. B. PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020 i. Public comment will be taken on the CWC's proposed budget for fiscal year 2019-20. C. RESOLUTION 2019-16 APPROVING THE CWC'S PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020 i. Consideration of Resolution 2019-16 approving the CWC's proposed budget for fiscal year 2019-2020. D. ENVIRONMENTAL DASHBOARD PROJECT UPDATE AND DISCUSSION i. CWC Communications Director Lindsey Nielsen will provide an update on the proposed scope, timeline, and budget for the Environmental Dashboard. E. TRANSPORTATION UPDATE AND DISCUSSION i. Short Term Update: Park City Trails & Open Space Program Manager Heinrich Deters will provide a presentation on Guardsman Pass transportation and trailhead improvements. ii. Long Term Update: a. CCTAP Tolling Task - HDR Transportation Planning Director Jason McGlashan will provide a presentation on the Tolling task item for the Cottonwood Canyons Transportation Action Plan. b. UDOT Tolling Overview - UDOT Policy and Legislative Services Director Linda Hull will provide an overview of state statute pertaining to the imposition and collection of tolls. F. RESOLUTION 2019-17 AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CWC'S REGISTRATION WITH THE UTAH LT. GOVERNOR'S OFFICE AS A LIMITED PURPOSE ENTITY i. Consideration of Resolution 2019-17 authorizing and directing the CWC's registration with the Utah Lt. Governor's Office as a limited purpose entity by July 1, 2019 as required by UTAH CODE ANN. 67-1a-15 and 11-13-203(5). G. STAKEHOLDERS COUNCIL UPDATE AND DISCUSSION i. Stakeholders Council Chair Greg Summerhays will provide an update on the May Stakeholders Council Meeting and work moving forward. H. DISCUSSION AND AMENDMENT TO 2019 STAKEHOLDER COUNCIL ANNUAL MEETING SCHEDULE i. Consideration of Resolution 2019-18 amending the regular meeting time and location for the CWC Stakeholder Council for 2019 to 3:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month in the Cottonwood Heights city hall's 'Community Room.' I. DISCUSSION AND RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR CWC DEPUTY DIRECTOR JESSE DEAN i. Consideration of Resolution 2019-19 expressing appreciation to Deputy Director Jesse Dean for his work and service to the CWC. J. PUBLIC COMMENT. Comments to the Commission are taken on any item not scheduled for a public hearing, as well as on any other CWC business. Comments are limited to three minutes. K. COMMISSIONER COMMENT L. ADJOURNMENT CERTIFICATE OF POSTING At or before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019, the undersigned does hereby certify that the above notice and agenda and agenda was (1) posted at either the CWC's principal office or at the building where the meeting is to be held; (2) posted on the Utah Public Notice Website created under UTAH CODE ANN. 63F-1-701; and (3) provided to The Salt Lake Tribune and/or Deseret News and to a local media correspondent. Final action may be taken in relation to any topic listed on the agenda, including but not limited to adoption, rejection, amendment, addition of conditions and variations of options discussed. Members of the Commission may participate electronically. Meetings may be closed for reasons allowed by statute.
