PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE HYRUM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY COUNCIL ROOM, 60 WEST MAIN, HYRUM, UTAH AT 6:30 P.M., THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2019. THE PROPOSED AGENDA IS AS FOLLOWS:

6. PUBLIC HEARING:
A. Proposed amendments to Titles 16 (the Subdivision Ordinance) and 17 (the Zoning Ordinance) of the Hyrum City Municipal Code as follows;
I. Section 16.10.050 (D) to encourage cul-de-sacs and curved roads in subdivisions.
II. Section 16.20.030 to require developer to extend utility lines to boundaries of developed property.
III. Section 16.20.210 notification of canal company and may require developer to pipe ditch.
IV. Clarification of subdivision submittal fees.
V. Section 17.60.010 to set a maximum a density allowed for multi-family housing developments to not exceed 10 units per acre.
VI. Section 17.85.010 to allow hen chickens on residential lots.
VII. Section 17.04.070 Innerblock development - Innerblock development is only allowed in the R-2A Zone. 'Innerblock development' means residential development of any dwelling units within the interior of existing blocks.
VIII.To repeal Chapter 17.61 Purchase and Selling of Land.
IX. To repeal Chapter 17.24 Residential R-1 Zone and to combine the Residential R-1 Zone with Chapter 17.28 Residential R-2 Zone.
X. Clarification of building permit and site plan approval process in all applicable Sections of Title 17.
XI. Clarification of living spaces and utility services for a two-family accessory apartment.
XII. Amending penalty from Class B Misdemeanors to Infractions where applicable in Title 16 and Title 17.
XIII.Other miscellaneous changes in Title 16 and Title 17.
7. SCHEDULED DELEGATIONS:
A. Ned Morrison - to discuss allowed location for an accessory building at 50 East 200 South.
B. Cassie Baxter, Baxbo Inc. - to request site plan approval for a shipping and receiving business at 40 West 300 North.
C. Ron Salvesen, Hyrum City - to request site plan approval for a fire station administration building at 30 North 100 West.
8. OTHER BUSINESS:
A. To discuss and make recommendations for updates to Title 16 the Subdivision Ordinance and Title 17 the Zoning Ordinance of the Hyrum City Municipal Code.
B. Annual Planning Commission Review:
I. Election of Planning Commission Chairman and Vice Chairman.
II. Review appointment terms of Planning Commission Members
III. Set meeting schedule for the year.
IV. Review past years work - conducted by Vice Chairman.
V. Review plans for the coming year.
