The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a Regular City Council meeting on June 25, 2026, at 6:42 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Utah.

4. Public Comment
Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door prior to the start of the meeting. Participation is limited to three minutes. Each participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded.

a. Discussion and Possible Action on a Request to Rezone 850 South 200 West (Tax ID No. S16688) and Approximately 876 South 200 West (Tax ID No. S16686) from Residential Agricultural (RA) Zoning to Modified Commercial (MC) Zoning. The Planning Commission considered the request following a public hearing on June 16, 2026, and did not recommend approval. The request is forwarded to the City Council for consideration. - Dave Oxman P&Z Secretary
b. Ratify an Administrative Correction to Resolution Numbering. Due to an inadvertent duplication of resolution numbers, the City Council will consider reassigning the resolution number of Resolution No. 2026-08 A Resolution Adopting the Operating Budget of Mount Pleasant City Library for the 2026-2027 fiscal year to Resolution No. 2026-11 to maintain accurate legislative records.
c. Approval of Resolution 2026-09 A Resolution Adopting the Operating Budget for Mount Pleasant City for the 2026-2027 Fiscal Year.
d. Approval of LBA Resolution 2026-02, A Resolution Amending the Operating Budget of the Local Building Authority (LBA) of Mount Pleasant City for the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year.
e. Approval of Resolution 2026-12, A Resolution Amending the 2025-2026 Mount Pleasant City Library Operating Budget.
f. Approval of Resolution 2026-13, A Resolution Amending the 2025-2026 Mount Pleasant City Operating Budget.
g. Approval of Ordinance 2026-08 An Ordinance of the City Council of Mt. Pleasant City, Utah, establishing and amending compensation for certain municipal officers and elected officials. -Dave Oxman
h. Approval of Ordinance 2026-09 An Ordinance establishing and implementing a program to charge mitigation rates for the deployment of emergency and non-emergency services by the fire department for services provided/rendered for the city of Mount Pleasant Fire Department. -Fire Chief Sam Draper
