ORANGEVILLE CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING 6:30 P.M. REGULAR MEETING Thursday, January 8, 2026 7:00 P.M. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that Orangeville City will hold its Public Hearing at 6:30 p.m. and regular meeting on January 8, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, 25 North Main, Orangeville, Utah, 84537, to consider the agenda items hereinafter set forth. PUBLIC HEARING 6:30 P.M. Agenda will be as follows: 1. Introduction by Mayor Shaun Bell 2. Open Public Hearing 3. Accept Public Comments 4. Discuss/Consider ORDINANCE 2026-1: AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE WILDLAND URBAN INTERFACE CODE TO COMPLY WITH HB 48. 5. Discuss/Consider ORDINANCE 2026-2: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS IN CHAPTER 15, ARTICLE A, ARTICLE B, and ARTICLE C, TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH UTAH CODE ANN. § 10-9a-6. 6. Approve/ Deny- RESOLUTION 2026-1: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ORANGEVILLE, UTAH, DECLARING A TEMPORARY MORATORIUM ON THE ACCEPTANCE AND PROCESSING OF NEW APPLICATIONS FOR SHORT-TERM RENTALS FOR 180 DAYS. 11. Approve/ Deny- ORDINANCE 2026-1: AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE WILDLAND URBAN INTERFACE CODE TO COMPLY WITH HB 48. 12. Approve/ Deny- ORDINANCE 2026-2: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS IN CHAPTER 15, ARTICLE A, ARTICLE B, and ARTICLE C, TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH UTAH CODE ANN. § 10-9a-6. 13. Approve/ Deny- Business License for Jay Butte, General Contractor. 14. Approve/Deny- Beautification Committee 15. Appoint new Planning and Zoning Committee Members. 16. Approve/Deny- putting an Engineering on Retainer. 17. Discuss RV Park 30-day requirement- Councilman Doug Stilson. 18. Discuss Orangeville City Fee Changes- Doug Stilson. 19. Ratify- Truck Tires for Maintenance Truck in the amount of $859.86. 20. Approve/Deny- Reimbursement for Kirk McQuivey for cleaning supplies for Fire Dept. in the amount of $24.51. 21. Staff, Council and Mayor Reports 22.
