- In accordance with Utah Code 10-3-711, the Millcreek City Council adopted the following ordinances on April 8, 2024: Ordinance 24-12, Approving the Disposal of Computer Laptops Contributed by Comcast Corporation with a Value of $25,000 to Students Completing the Millcreek Six-Week Digital Literacy Course. The ordinance follows Utah Code Ann. § 10-8-2, which requires, among other things, a study to support a monetary donation which sets forth an analysis and demonstrates the purpose for the appropriation. Ordinance 24-13, Approving Nonmonetary Assistance to the Millcreek Community Foundation. Utah Code 10-8-2(1)(a)(v) and (2)(b) provides that nonmonetary assistance may be provided to a nonprofit entity, whether or not the municipality receives consideration in return provided the total amount of services or other nonmonetary assistance any given fiscal year may not exceed 1% of the municipality's budget for that fiscal year. Ordinance 24-14, Rezoning Certain Property Located at Approximately 1632 East Maple Avenue from the R-1-6 Zone to the R-1-10 Zone. This ordinance rezoned property at 1632 E Maple Avenue from the R-1-6 Zone to the R-1-10 Zone. Ordinance 24-15, Amending Title 19 of the Millcreek Code of Ordinances by Repealing Chapter 19.82 Signs and Enacting a Revised Chapter 19.82 Signs. This ordinance revised the land use code chapter regulating signs. of Ordinance 24-16, Amending Section 5.19 of the Millcreek Code of Ordinances Regarding the Content of the License Application and Renewals. This ordinance amended affidavit requirements of the short-term rentals license application and renewals. Ordinance 24-17, Amending the 2023-24 Fiscal Year Budget. This ordinance is the fourth amendment to the city's annual budget.
