- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE PROVO CITY The PROVO CITY is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The PROVO CITY tax on a $467,000 residence would increase from $245.29 to $255.05, which is $9.76 per year. - The PROVO CITY tax on a $467,000 business would increase from $445.99 to $463.73, which is $17.74 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, PROVO CITY would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 3.95% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase. PUBLIC HEARING Date/Time: 8/8/2023 6:00 PM Location: Provo City Office City Council Chambers 445 W Center St, Provo, UT 84601 To obtain more information regarding the tax increase, citizens may contact PROVO CITY at 801-852-6120.
