- Roy City has requested to be annexed by the Weber Fire District to provide Fire, EMS, and related protection services. Notice is hereby given that Weber Fire District will hold a public hearing to receive comments relating to the annexation. Date: July 14, 2026 Time: 6:01 p.m. Location: Weber Fire District Station 61 2023 W. 1300 N., Farr West, Utah Additional information can be obtained by visiting www.weberfiredistrict.com or calling 801-782-3580. The impact on this annexation, based on the approximate average property value in Roy City of $439,000.00 and the current certified tax rate, if approved, starting in 2027: Residential - $314.13 per year Business - $571.14 per year Property owners and registered voters within the area proposed to be annexed may protest the annexation by filing a written protest with the Weber Fire District Board of Trustees within 30 days after the public hearing. Protests can be emailed to district@weberfiredistrict.gov or mailed to the above address after the public hearing.
