- Special City Council Meeting Agenda Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. Truth in Taxation Hearing 2600 West Taylorsville Blvd., Room No. 140 Taylorsville, Utah 84129 *Please Turn All Mobile Devices to Silent or Vibrate While in the Council Chambers* **NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CITY OF TAYLORSVILLE WILL HOLD A SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS LOCATED AT 2600 WEST TAYLORSVILLE BLVD, TAYLORSVILLE, UTAH. A COUNCIL MEMBER MAY ATTEND AND VOTE ELECTRONICALLY AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC MAY PARTICIPATE ELECTRONICALLY OR IN PERSON.** 'Council Members reserve the right to change the order of agenda items at their discretion.' 1. WELCOME Pledge and Reverence: Council Member Burgess Citizen Comments Policy and Procedure Notice is further hereby given that person(s) wishing to make a public comment at a City Council meeting may do so either virtually or in person. In-person participants are asked to submit a public comment form to the City Recorder or Deputy City Recorder prior to speaking before the City Council. Audio equipment will be used to ensure any virtual comments will be audible to others in attendance. 2. TRUTH IN TAXATION AND FINAL BUDGET ADOPTION 2.1 Presentation Regarding the Proposed Property Tax Increase, Property Tax Impact Schedule, and Compliance with the Utah Truth in Taxation Act- John Taylor 2.2 Public Hearing Receive Public Comment regarding the Proposed Property Tax Increase Pursuant to the Utah Truth in Taxation Act 2.3 Resolution No. 26-21 A Resolution of the City of Taylorsville Adopting the Final Property Tax Levy for the 2026 Tax Year Following Compliance with the Utah Truth in Taxation Act, Making Legislative Findings, and Authorizing Implementation 2.4 Resolution No. 26-22 - A Resolution of the City of Taylorsville Amending and Adopting the Final Budget for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2026 and Ending June 30, 2027, Following Completion of the Utah Truth in Taxation Process 3.
