- Central Wasatch Commission Capacity Committee Meeting Monday, June 8, 2026; 2:00 P.M. 10351 E Highway 210, Alta, UT 84092 Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission Capacity Committee will hold a meeting on Monday, June 8, 2026 beginning at approximately 2:00 P.M. You may attend the meeting at the anchor location: The post office located at 10185 E Highway 210, Alta, UT 84092, or virtually by registering at the below link. Please note that after registering, you will receive an email containing a meeting access link. https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_-4T0M2PrRwyiph78GmL-pw Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the above-referenced meeting. The agenda for that meeting is accessible here: Utah Public Notice Website, the anchor location, The Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News. Civility and decorum should be applied in all discussions and debate. Difficult questions, tough challenges to a point of view, and criticism of ideas and information are legitimate elements of a free democracy in action. Public officials and the public are encouraged to refrain from making belligerent, personal, impertinent, slanderous, threatening, abusive, or disparaging comments. 2:00 P.M. Opening 1. Chair Roger Bourke will open the public meeting as Chair of the Capacity Committee of the Central Wasatch Commission. 2:05 P.M. Priority Identification Discussion 1. Commissioners will discuss and set the vision and purpose for the committee. a. What is capacity, as it applies to this region? b. What are the committee's goals in defining capacity? 2. Commissioners will discuss and set goals in support of the broader vision. 3. Commissioners will determine specific objectives to help achieve the committee's goals and vision. 2:50 P.M. Determination of Meeting Cadence 1. The Committee will determine its meeting cadence. 2:55 P.M. Other Items 0. 3:00 P.M. Closing 1. Chair Bourke will call for a motion to adjourn the Capacity Committee meeting. _________________________________________________________________ CERTIFICATE OF POSTING At or before 2:00 P.M. on June 5, 2026, the undersigned hereby certifies that the above notice and agenda was: 1. Posted on the Utah Public Notice Website created under UTAH CODE ANN. 63A-16-601; 2. Posted at the meeting's anchor location at 311 S. State St. Suite 330, Salt Lake City, UT; 3. Posted at the office of the governing body of each member entity of the CWC; and 4. Provided to the Salt Lake Tribune and/or Deseret News and to a local media correspondent. The audio recording and transcript of the meeting will be posted for public review. Commissioners will/may participate electronically. Meetings may be closed for reasons allowed by statute. Final action may be taken in relation to any topic listed on the agenda, including but not limited to adoption, rejection, amendment, addition of conditions and variations of options discussed. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations or assistance during this meeting shall notify the CWC at 801.834.5950 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
