- The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a Regular City Council meeting on May 12, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Utah. Call to Order-Mayor 1. Opening Ceremony- By Invitation Pledge of Allegiance- Opening Prayer- 2. Roll Call - City Recorder 3. Recognition and Appreciation of Former Contoy Arena Managers and Staff for Their Service and Contributions to Mt. Pleasant City - Mayor and City Council 4. Youth City Council Year End Report- Debbie James 5. Consent Agenda - Mayor Claims Register: Dated 04/25/2026 to 05/08/2026 in the amount of 333,771.00 Transaction Register: Dated 03/01/2026 to 03/31/2026 in the amount of ($1,019.57) Dated 04/01/2026 to 04/30/2026 in the amount of ($1,454.85) Approval of Minutes: April 28, 2026, Regular City Council Minutes April 28, 2026, Work Session Minutes 6. Public Comment Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door prior to the start of the meeting. Participation is limited to three minutes. Each participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. Approval of Requisition #042606 to Anixter Power Solutions LLC in the amount of $6,926.60 For Dillion Model AP 5000 lbs. CAP 5' Dial Hope Mountain Ranch Passthrough - Power Superintendent Shane Ward iii. Approval of Requisition #042607 to TRC Engineers INC in the amount of $134,456.00 for Land Survey Estimate- Power Superintendent Shane Ward iv. Ratification of Emergency Requisitions (if any) c. Continued Approval of Ordinance #2026-07 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING MITIGATION RATES AND A BILLING PROGRAM FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT SERVICES-Fire Chief Sam Draper d. Approval of Resolution #2026-08 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE MT. PLEASANT CITY SIDEWALK MANAGEMENT, MAINTENANCE, AND INSPECTION PROGRAM (SMMIP)- Britanny Adams 8. Reports Staff Reports Council Reports Mayor Report 9. Closed Session (if necessary pursuant to Utah Code ยง52-4-205) 10.
