- PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA Wednesday, May 13th, 2026, 6:00 pm Providence City Office Building, 164 North Gateway Dr., Providence Ut This will be an in-person meeting; however, some members of the Planning Commission may be attending this meeting electronically. Comments: The Planning Commission accepts comments: in-person, by email, and by text. In-person: Providence City Office Building, 164 N Gateway Drive, Providence UT Email: providencecityutah@gmail.com Text: 435-752-9441 Call to Order: Robert Henke Chair Roll Call of Commission Members: Pledge of Allegiance: Item No. 1 Approval of Minutes: The Planning Commission will consider approval of the minutes of April 8th, 2026. (MINUTES) Public Comments: Citizens may express their views on issues within the Planning Commission's jurisdiction. The Commission accepts comments: in-person, by email providencecityutah@gmail.com , and by text 435-752-9441. By law, email comments are considered public record and will be shared with all parties involved, including the Planning Commission and the applicant. Public Hearings: Item No. 2 Parcel 02-095-0031 Rezone Public Hearing: The Planning Commission will take comments and questions from the public regarding a request to rezone Parcel 02-095-0031, located in the general area of 96 N Main. The property is currently zoned R-1-12; the applicant is requesting Mixed Use (MXD). Legislative - Action Item(s): Item No. 3 Parcel 02-095-0031 Rezone Recommendation: The Planning Commission will review, discuss and may make a recommendation to the City Council regarding the application to rezone Parcel 02-095-0031 from R-1-12 to Mixed Use. (PRESENTATION) & (ANALYSIS) Administrative Action Item(s): None Study Items(s): Item No. 4 PCC 10-12-3&4 Code Amendments: The Planning Commission will review, discuss and may move forward with setting a public hearing regarding proposed code amendments to extend the sunset day for the incentive to record the deed restriction for an IADU or an ADU. (AMENDMENT) Agenda posted by Ty Cameron on 8th day of May 2026.
