- AGENDA HUNTINGTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING May 21, 2025 Notice is hereby given that the Huntington City Council will hold its regularly scheduled council meeting May 21, 2025 at the city office building located at 20 South Main. Meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Agenda will be as follows: 6:30 P.M. Roll Call Opening Remarks Pledge of Allegiance 1. MOTION: CONSENT AGENDA - Approval of April 15, 2025 City Council Minutes - Approval of April 23, 2025 Audit Review Minutes - City Claims and Review of Financials 2. Discuss/approve/deny: Business license 3. Discuss/approve/deny: Donation for Huntington Elementary Archery Club 4. Discuss/approve/deny: Mayor Van Wagoner, recommendation for City Recorder position 5. Discuss/approve/deny: City Attorney Services monthly retainer 6. Discuss/approve/deny: Tentative budget for Fiscal Year 2026 7. Discuss/approve/deny: Repair and replace office shelves 8. Discuss/approve/deny: Raise credit card limit on the council's credit cards 9. Discuss/approve/deny: Apply to Emery County for ARPA recreation funds 10. Discuss/approve/deny: UDOT - Hwy 31 project 11. Appoint Councilperson Devin Wilson to Audit Committee 12. Mayor's 13. Departmental Reports (Fire department, Maintenance department) 14. Youth City Council report 15. Council's Reports 16. Zoning Administrator Report 17. Adjournment Notice Provisions: Motions relating to any of the foregoing including final action may be taken at the meeting. The order of agenda items may change to accommodate the needs of the City Council, the staff, and the public. CERTIFICATE OF POSTING The undersigned, duly appointed City Recorder, does hereby certify that the above notice and agenda were posted in three public places. These public places being 1) Huntington City Hall; 2) Utah Public Notice Website; and 3) the Huntington City website www.huntingtonut.com. The public is invited to attend all city council meetings.
