- 2025 Grand County Fair Board Meeting Agenda Date: Friday, March 7th, 2025 Time: 4:00pm Old Spanish Trail Arena Conference Room Google Meets Meeting Link: https://meet.google.com/ovk-fwfc-psc or call 402-543-0202, pin 729 715 890 # Agenda Items: Call the meeting to order Welcome introductions for new individuals as necessary: Angie Book, Arena Director Greg Poor, Arena Assistant Director Mackenzie Daniels, Arena Admin Assistant (secretary to take meeting minutes for this meeting's purposes) Nicolle Gaddis Wyatt - new board member Heidi Blake - new board member Deborah Slectha - new board member 4H Michael McCurdy - County Commissioner Meeting breakdown and structure: These are public meetings. They will be announced and posted in accordance with state and county policy. The minutes will be documented and the meetings will be recorded. We will go through the agenda as outlined. Be respectful of everyone's time, keep side conversations and chit chatting to a minimum, or until after the meeting has concluded. Note your questions and hold them until the end of each section. Review old business: Review 2024 Review 2024 Budget Board Member Report: Angie Greg Nicolle Heidi Deborah 4H New business: 1. Volunteer paperwork - Service Agreement, Liability Waiver, Ethics Pledge and Disclosure Statement, Code of Conduct, Emergency Action Plan and OPMA Training (online). 2. Board Position Assignments: a. Exhibits b. Entertainment (will coordinate sub-committees) c. Risk Management (Security/Safety) d. Volunteer Coordinator e. Marketing Coordinator f. Vendor Coordinator 3. 2025 Budget 4. Fair Schedule - We need to discuss and start making decisions on the schedule. 5. Entertainment - Review options for 2025. 6. Volunteers - We need recruit volunteers. 7. Sponsors - We need to start soliciting sponsors. 8. County Fair Board - We need to recruit more members. Three (3) open seats. - Next Meeting's Agenda Items: - Next Meeting: Discuss meeting schedule and vote - Adjourn:
