- UTAH PRIVACY COMMISSION MEETING This will be an electronic meeting with an anchor location. Public comments may be allowed after each discussion item. Anchor Location: Utah Capitol Complex East Bldg., Room 220 350 N. State Street Salt Lake City, UT 84114 AGENDA Thursday, June 20, 2024 2:30 p.m. 1. Welcome 2. Action Item: Approve minutes of the May 22, 2024 meeting. 3. Action Item: Approve schedule of meetings for the remainder of FY2025 (all at 2:30): A. August 14th, 2024 B. September 11th, 2024 C. October 9th, 2024 D. November 13th, 2024 E. December 11th, 2024 F. January 8th, 2025 G. February 12th, 2025 H. March 12th, 2025 I. April 9th, 2025 J. May 14th, 2025 K. June 11th, 2025 L. One meeting to be noticed as needed, probably during the legislative session. 4. Discussion Item: Our responsibility to report to the Judiciary Interim Committee by October 1st per Utah Code ยง63C-24-202(3) and how we will meet that deadline; 5. Action Item: Establish membership for the four Subcommittees: A. Government Privacy Standards and Best Practices (e.g. privacy impact assessments, privacy policy templates, general compliance issues); B. Government Privacy Education and Training (including resource issues); C. Government Privacy and Civil Liberties (focusing on specific issues of concern); and D. Government Privacy and Cybersecurity Legislation. 6. Planning for our August 14th meeting. 7. Presentation: Report from the Chief Privacy Officer or designee. 8. Presentation: Report from the State Privacy Officer or designee. 9. Other business; and 10. Adjourn
