- ESCALANTE CITY PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Escalante City Planning and Zoning will hold a Public Hearing on January 23, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Escalante City Council Chambers - 56 N. 100 W. Escalante, Utah. This Public Hearing is to amend five Planning and Zoning Ordinances. First, Ordinance 2024-01 Amending Planning and Zoning Ordinance Chapter 10.02.060 Building Permit Required. Second, Ordinance 2024-02 amending the Planning and Zoning Ordinance Chapter 10.02.050 Definitions. Third Ordinance 2024-03 amending the Planning and Zoning Ordinance Chapter 10.44.020 Adding Animals and Fowl to Single-Family Dwelling. Fourth Ordinance 2024-04 amending the Planning and Zoning Ordinance Chapter 10.30.020 Adding Park Models. Fifth Ordinance 2024-05 amending the Planning and Zoning Ordinance Chapter 10.22.020 Definitions, 10.22.030 Development Standards. All Ordinances are available for review at the City Office or on the City Website https://www.escalantecity-utah.com. The public is invited to attend the hearing and provide comments. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations during this meeting should notify Escalante City Office at 435-826-4644.
