SLC, UT 84116 Please use this link to join the meeting: https://meet.google.com/ynk-xddz-fcv?authuser=0 Join by phone (US) +1 413-248-8940 PIN: 564 593 177# A G E N D A Welcome and Updates - Chris Etherington, Co-Chair Welcome Overview from Florencia Review and approval of minutes from May 14, 2025 Business (carried over from May) requiring a vote: o Rules for Legislative Compliance R432-950 Mammography to comply with HB146 (aligns with change to statute 21 CFR 900 Subpart B code of federal regulations governing mammography standards and recently simplified notifications for dense breast tissue) R432-100 General Hospital Standards to comply with HB152 (simple addition to outline conditions for operating an satellite emergency dept) Upcoming: R432-31 Order for Life Sustaining Treatment for SB0134 that will go into eff ect in January-we will provide this in the next committee meeting. R432-270 Assisted Living-Change in proposed rule removing critical incident reporting requirements in-line with new R380-600 enforcement rule. This CPR was posted June 1 (not approved in time for May 15 bulletin) and is currently out for public comment. Any comments can be submitted to dlbc@utah.gov Construction Rules o R432-4 General Construction was activated as previously amended on March 15. o New 432-4 was drafted to add back incorporations by reference and standardize duplicative construction rule content into one place that applies to all (except Assisted Living). Other Business o Construction Rules Plan is for OL to work with Michael Dolan (construction representative) and fi le the 12 construction rules aligned to follow 432-4 as soon thereafter as possible. No substantive changes, just moving content and restructuring for rule writing manual compliance. o R432-35 Background Check-Health Care Facility Licensing to address the recodification and re-titling of the Utah Criminal Code. Additional amendment included the 2-year denial timeframe to include date of completion of the administrative hearing.
