WORK MEETING:
A. CALL TO ORDER
DISCUSSION ITEMS:
For November's Regular Meeting:
1. Ordinance amending Chapter 20 stating that the DRC is a public body
2. Ordinance amending Chapter 4 stating that Town Council will approve Planning Commission's choice of Chairman
3. Q&A with Washington County Sheriff about need for and impact of a substation in Virgin
4. Water Development Surcharge required by the Water Conservancy District
5. Appointments to and possible changes to Capital Improvements Committee
6. Presentation by Town Treasurer
7. Revision of Rules of Procedure for Town Council Meetings
8. Whether Virgin should hire a Town Manager
9. Adoption of Emergency Operations Plan prepared by Emergency Manager, Randy Hiller
10. Need to create a Floodplain Development Permit
11. Discuss proposal by operator of BMX track to purchase BMX property from Virgin.
For December's Regular Meeting:
1. Public Hearing to adopt
a. Water Development Surcharge as required by the WCWCD's Regional Water Supply Agreement. (Requires both an ordinance and a resolution)
b. Quarterly amendment to the Town Budget
2. Subdivision Ordinance
3. Any other ordinances that come from Planning Commission's December meeting
4. Resolution to increase Resort Tax from 1% to 1.1%
5. TC referral to PZ of Ordinance to requiring STR and Residential Hosting permit numbers to be placed on websites
6. New TC meeting schedule for 2025
