Planned Development - 900 East Collective
Colin Strasser is requesting planned development approval to subdivide the property at approximately 1935 S 900 E into three lots to allow for the development of two new single-family dwellings. The property currently contains an existing single-family dwelling, which would be preserved and remain on one lot with street frontage along 900 East. The project is required to receive planned development approval because the new lots do not have frontage on a public street. This request includes modifications to required lot sizes, lot widths, yards, building coverage, and attached garage standards.

Alley Closure at approximately 9 N Chicago St. (Madsen Park)
Ronnie Pessetto (Salt Lake City Department of Public Lands) is requesting to close a portion of an alley running north/south between 1000 West and Chicago St. near Madsen Park. This part of the alley does not currently serve a functional purpose or access for nearby residents to their properties or to the park. It has been incorporated into the park as a multi-purpose field and basketball court which have made it unusable as a public right-of-way. The applicant is requesting the alley closure so that all property that composes Madsen Park can be consolidated into 1 parcel.
The proposed use will be subject to all relevant requirements for alley vacations in City Code section 14.52 Disposition of City Owned Alleys.
