Kanab City hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO UPDATE IMPACT FEE FACILITIES PLANS and IMPACT FEE WRITTEN ANALYSES.
Kanab City, a local municipality located in Kane County, Utah, intends to adopt an independent and comprehensive Impact Fee Facilities Plans and Written Impact Fee Analyses for Water, Stormwater, Wastewater, Public Safety, Recreation, and Transportation. The proposed capital facilities will be located in the City's service area, which includes the entire city municipal boundaries. The impact fees to be adopted will be charged to new development and used to offset the cost of capital facilities to serve new development and/or buy into existing facilities.
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Kanab City will hold a public hearing on April 23, 2024 commencing at 6:30pm at the City Council Chambers located at 26 North 100 East Kanab, UT 84741. The purpose of the public hearing is to take public comments regarding the Impact Fee Facilities Plans for Kanab City and the Impact Fee Analyses for Water, Stormwater, Wastewater, Public Safety, Recreation, and Transportation within Kanab City. A copy of the Resolution, Impact Fee Facilities Plans, and Impact Fee Analyses will be available for public inspection on the City's website www.kanab.utah.gov at the Kanab City offices, and at the Kanab City Library during regular business hours. This notice is being given in satisfaction of requirements of Utah Code Ann. § 11-66a-502 and 504 and § 17B-1-111.
If you cannot attend the public hearing and would like to submit written comments, they will be received at Kanab City offices until 5:00pm on the date of the public hearing. For information about the impact fee analysis projects please contact Kyler Ludwig at email kludwig@kanab.utah.gov.
