4. Planning Commission- The Municipal Services District (MSD) planning staff is recommending an ordinance change to be made to the Kearns Municipal Code section 19.15.050. This is a proposed amendment to the setback standards of detached accessory dwelling units, allowing existing accessory buildings to be converted to detached ADUs if they comply with building code. The amendment also proposes to reduce the rear and side setback for detached ADUs to five (5) feet. (Discussion/Motion)
