NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROVO CITY, UTAH
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on April 19, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., the Municipal Council (the 'Council') of Provo City, Utah (the 'Issuer') will hold a public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to (i) the issuance, in one or more series, of up to $10,000,000 (exclusive of $5,000,000 of principal forgiveness) of wastewater revenue bonds (the 'Bonds') of the Issuer for the purpose of financing a portion of the construction costs of new and upgraded treatment facilities at the Issuer's water reclamation plant (the 'Project') and paying costs of issuance of the Bonds, and (ii) the potential economic impact that the Project will have on the private sector.
The Issuer will not pledge any taxes of the Issuer for the payment of the Bonds. The Issuer will pledge, pursuant to a Master Trust Indenture Providing for the Issuance of Wastewater Revenue Bonds, the revenues attributable to the Issuer's sewer collection, treatment, and disposition system (the 'System') for the payment of the Bonds.
The Council will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting that begins at 5:30 p.m. on April 19, 2022, at the regular meeting place of the Council at 351 W. Center St., Provo, Utah.
Additional information regarding the repayment schedule for the Bonds, the impact of the Project, and system user charge rates and connection fees, is available at the office of the City Recorder of the Issuer and is being mailed, together with a copy of this Notice of Public Hearing, to System users in the Issuer's service area.
