NOTICE OF FUNDING OPPORTUNITY All organizations wishing to submit grant applications for CDBG Hard Cost or Community & Support Services for FY22-23 must have a representative attend the training held on October 28, 2021 at 11 am to 1 pm at the Davis County Administration Building, 61 South Main Street, Room 131 Farmington. Eligibility: Non-profit Agencies, Davis County Non-entitlement Cities, Quasi-Government Agencies, and Davis County Departments. Opportunity: Two funding opportunities for FY22-23; Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 'Hard Cost Projects' (Housing, Public Facility, Improvements, Infrastructure Improvements) Funds will be used to support housing choices through home improvement programs, homeownership, land acquisition for housing development; neighborhood revitalization and improvements to infrastructure and neighborhood facilities. Community and Support Service Programs (CDBG Public Service & SSBG) Funds will be used to increase education, support case management, educational & training opportunities, and foster healthier families by addressing the identified basic needs as well as fundamental housing, food, health, and safety concerns. - CDBG recipients must provide activities that serve clients at or below 80% AMI, who live in the 'Urban County' area, (includes Bountiful, Centerville, Clinton, Farmington, Fruit Heights, Kaysville, North Salt Lake, South Weber, Sunset, Syracuse, West Bountiful, West Point, and Woods Cross & Unincorporated Davis County). - SSBG grant recipients must have documented established guidelines and serve low and moderate income (LMI) households in Davis County. Minimum Funding Requests Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Hard Costs: $25,000 Community and Support Services (CDBG Public Services) & SSBG: $25,000 CDBG funding must comply with priorities of the Davis County Consolidated Plan 2021-2025 APPLICATION DEADLINE Applications are due Friday, December 22, 2021 by 5:00 p.m. Applications must be submitted online through ZoomGrants™. Incomplete, hand-delivered, emailed, mailed, faxed, or late applications will be deemed ineligible. Grant Funds are administered and monitored through the County's Community & Economic Development. All applications must comply with the HUD Community Development Block Grant Program Federal Regulations, see 24 CFR Part 570 for the CDBG Program; the provisions of the Social Services Block Grant Act, see 42 U.S.C. § 1397 et seq. (the 'Act'); and all relevant federal, state, and local laws; These funds will be awarded to participating cities and nonprofit organizations which provide services to low-and moderate income (LMI) persons living in Davis County.
