The Mayor has determined the pandemic presents a substantial risk to the health and safety of those who may be present at an anchor location. ITEM TO BE SET FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON MARCH 23, 2021 AT 7:30 PM, OR TO COMMENCE SHORTLY THEREAFTER: 2021 Magna General Plan: The Magna Metro Township is considering adopting the proposed 2021 Magna General Plan, which plans for the areas within Magna. The 2021 General Plan is Magna's first comprehensive plan since its incorporation in 2017. The Plan synthesizes data and public feedback to describe current conditions, envision Magna's future, and guide Magna from present conditions toward that desired vision. This General Plan meets the required State Laws for general planning, including elements on Land Use, Transportation, and Moderate-Income Housing. It also includes the following supplemental elements: Introduction & Overview; Planning Process; Catalyst Areas & Economic Stability; Parks, Trails, Recreation & Open Space; Natural Hazards; Community Services & Facilities; Sustainability; and Implementation & Work Plan.
