CONSIDER MIXED-USE OVERLAY ZONE (Legislative)
Acting Mayor Wheeler requests considering one or more mixed-use overlay zones, possibly allowing duplexes and/or townhomes, by layer/buffer, designed especially for large land area projects. The idea is to require more local amenities (playground, tennis, pickleball, pool, clubhouse) for more density, along with public amenities (trails, benches) - all privately owned and maintained.
UPDATE 13.30 SUBDIVISION ORDINANCES (Legislative)
Finish modifying 13.30.070 Final Plat to simplify language and requirements for Mylar submissions. Consider request to clarify responsibilities related to the Bonus Density option. Consider additional trail specifications (width, ownership, maintenance, fence height, kind [open/close] and materials).
CONSIDER NEW ORDINANCE FOR DETACHED ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS AND POSSIBLE CHANGES TO CURRENT 12.30.190 ACCESSORY APARTMENTS (Legislative)
Create ordinance allowing detached accessory dwelling units. Review Accessory Apartment ordinance for possible updates.
DISCUSS POSSIBLE CHANGES TO 12.170 PLANNED COMMERCIAL ZONE (Legislative)
Review permitted uses and conditional uses. Determine how/what to allow and prohibit. Ideally the commercial zone generates revenue via sales tax.
