- NEWTON TOWN COUNCIL AGENDA May 7, 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Newton Town Council will hold its regular council meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. on May 7, 2020. This will be a virtual meeting. If you would like to attend or send in comments please email newtontown@comcast.net at least one hour prior to the meeting. If you would like to speak on a specific agenda item you must make a request with the Newton Town Clerk at least one hour prior to the meeting at newtontown@comcast.net . ESTIMATED time of consideration REGULAR MEETING AGENDA 7:00 p.m. 1. Call to Order/Roll Call Mayor Rhodes 2. Opening Ceremony Kent Fabricius 3. Approval of April Minutes 7:05 p.m. 4. Cache County Sheriff Department Law Enforcement Contract and Animal Control 7:30 p.m. 5. Resolution 2020-01 Fee Schedule - New green waste program and fee of $2 per garbage billing/month added to Fee Schedule 7:50 p.m. 6. Preliminary Plan review for 5 lot subdivision, Larsen Farms subdivision, part of lot 5 & 6, Block 22, Plat 'A', approximately 400 West between Main and 200 South. 8:00 p.m. 7. Financial Statements and Budget Review 8:30 p.m. 8. Report on Mayor/ Council Member Assignments - Mayor Rhodes Animal Control/Administration/Nuisance/Parks - Gordon Anderson Planning/Fire Dept./First Responders - Kent Fabricius Buildings/Land Management - Kathryn Rigby Library/Special Events/Youth Council - Jed Woodward Water/Streets Dated this 6th day of May, 2020.
