CENTRAL WASATCH COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA MONDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2019, 4:00 p.m. MILL CREEK CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS 3300 SOUTH 1300 EAST, Millcreek, Utah 84106 A) OPENING, 4:00 p.m. i. Commissioner Chris McCandless will conduct the meeting as Chair of the CWC. ii. The Commission will consider approving the meeting minutes of Monday, November 4th, 2019 B) ENVIRONMENTAL DASHBOARD UPDATE 4:05-4:35 P.M. i. Dr. Jim Ehleringer of the University of Utah's Ehleringer Group will provide an update on the Environmental Dashboard. C) 2020 CWC MEETING LOCATION AND TIMES, 4:35-4:45 P.M. i. Discussion on location (Cottonwood Heights city hall or WFRC conference room) for CWC meetings in 2020. ii. Consideration of Resolution 2019-29-A (designating the Cottonwood Heights city hall as the meeting place for Board meetings) or Resolution 2019-29-B (designating the WFRC conference room as the meeting place for Board meetings) establishing a schedule for regular meetings of the CWC's Board and Stakeholders Council for 2020. D) CWC COMMITTEES 4:45-4:50 P.M. i. Consideration of Resolution 2019-30 amending the CWC bylaws concerning advisory committees. ii. Discussion concerning the Transportation, Short Term Projects, and Legislation advisory committees. E) ELECTION OF CWC CHAIR AND CO-CHAIR 4:50-5:00 P.M. i. The Board will entertain nominations, and conduct an election, for a new chair and cochair of the CWC to replace current Chair Chris McCandless and Co-Chair Jackie Biskupski, to be effective 6 January 2020. F) ACCOUNTING SERVICES REIMBURSEMENT 5:00-5:05 P.M. i. Consideration of Resolution 2019-31 authorizing reimbursement of accounting expenses incurred in connection with termination of the Mountain Accord process and formation of the CWC. G) STAKEHOLDERS COUNCIL UPDATE AND DISCUSSION, 5:05 - 5:15 P.M. i. Stakeholders Council Chair and Vice-Chair, Greg Summerhays and Dr. Kelly Bricker, will provide an update on the November Stakeholders Council meeting and work moving forward. H) STAFF MONTHLY REPORT, 5:15 - 5:25 P.M. i. Presentation by Executive Director Ralph Becker of his monthly report. I) PUBLIC COMMENT. Comments to the Commission are taken on any item not scheduled for a public hearing, as well as on any other CWC business. Comments are limited to three minutes. J) COMMISSIONER COMMENT. Final action may be taken in relation to any topic listed on the agenda, including but not limited to adoption, rejection, amendment, addition of conditions and variations of options discussed. Members of the Commission may participate electronically. Meetings may be closed for reasons allowed by statute.
