REGULAR AGENDA Mapleton City Council Meeting Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 7:00 pm Mapleton City Council Chambers 125 West 400 North, Mapleton, Utah 84664 CALL TO ORDER-INVOCATION- PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ---- MAYOR'S COMMENTS PUBLIC FORUM: Members of the audience may bring to the attention of the Mayor and Council any item that is not on the agenda. Please sign in. Speakers are generally given two to three minutes, at the discretion of the Mayor, to address the Council. State law prohibits the Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. The Mayor reserves the right to amend the order of the agenda items and to delete items no longer required for consideration. CONSENT AGENDA: The Consent Agenda consists of items that are administrative actions where no additional discussion is needed. When approved, the recommendations in the staff reports become the action of the Council. The Agenda provides an opportunity for public comment. If after the public comment the Council removes an item from the consent agenda for discussion, the item will keep its agenda number and will be added to the regular agenda for discussion, unless placed otherwise by the Council. 1. Approval of City Council meeting minutes- June 19, 2019 2. Consideration of a Resolution approving an amendment to the Male Vale Plat 'B' subdivision, now known as the Magnolia Lane subdivision, consisting of four lots located at approximately 200 E and 2000 S. Sean Conroy, Community Development Director 3. Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the purchase of a Public Works vehicle. Steven Lord, Public Works Director/City Engineer 4. Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with Springville City for the purposes of agreeing to the terms for Judge Fenstermaker to be the judge for each cities respective Justice Court. Cory Branch, City Administrator PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS: 5. Consideration of an Ordinance rezoning approximately 5.7 acres of land from the Agricultural-Residential (A-2) zone to the Residential-Agricultural (RA-2) zone located at 1325 East 1200 North, and review of a conceptual development plan for the property. The western 4 acres of this parcel is already zoned RA-2. Sean Conroy, Community Development Director 6. Consideration of an Ordinance rezoning approximately 5 acres located at approximately 730 South Main Street from Agricultural-Residential (A-2) to Residential Agricultural (RA-1) with the TDR-Receiving Overlay and approving the Preliminary Plat for the Thatchill Estates Subdivision Plat 'A' consisting of seven lots. Consideration of an Ordinance rezoning approximately 4.06 acres from Agricultural- Residential (A-2) to Residential-Minor Agricultural (RA-2) located at approximately 440 West 1400 North and approving the Preliminary Plat for the Hidden Lane Estates Subdivision Plat 'A' consisting of eight lots. Consideration of a Resolution approving the Preliminary Plat for the Northridge Estates subdivision located at approximately 875 East 1600 North consisting of 19 lots in the RA-2 and A-2 zones.
