- The Planning Commission Public Meeting is a public forum where, depending on the agenda item, the Planning Commission may receive comments and recommendations from applicants, the public, applicable agencies and MSD staff regarding land use applications and other items on the Commission's agenda. In addition, it is where the Planning Commission takes action on these items, which may include: approval, approval with conditions, denial, continuance or recommendation to other bodies as applicable. BUSINESS MEETING 1) Approval of July 15, 2026, Planning Commission Meeting Minutes. (Motion/Voting) 2) OAM2026-001669 - Introduction of an ordinance amendment project to reorganize Title 19 Zoning, which will be discussed with the planning commission in 3 phases. Planning staff will present an overview of the entire ordinance amendment project, followed by a discussion and work session for phase 1 of the project, which will include the following chapters: 19.04 Definitions, 19.22 Parks and Open Space, 19.23 Mountain Resort Zone, 19.24 Forestry Zones, 19.26 Agricultural and Foothill Agricultural Zones, 19.28 Single-Family Residential Zones, 19.30 Medium and High Density Residential Zones, 19.32 Commercial Zones, 19.34 Manufacturing Zones, 19.35 S-1-G Zone, and 19.36 Mixed Use Zones.
