PUBLIC NOTICE Laketown Town Public Hearings June 3, 2026 (Wednesday) 6:00 PM Notice is hereby given that the Laketown Town Council will hold Public Hearings starting at 6:00 PM in the Laketown Town Office located at 10 North 200 East Laketown, Utah for the following two (2) items: Immediately following the Public Hearings, the Laketown Town Council will hold its regularly scheduled Town Council Meeting. 1. Budget Hearing Resolution 2026-04 2026-27 Fiscal Year Budget The purpose of this hearing is to consider, receive public comments and discuss with the Laketown residents the operating budgets for the fiscal year 2026-27. A copy of the fiscal year 2026-27 budget is available for inspection in the Laketown Office at 10 North 200 East, Laketown, Utah, during regular office hours. Following the above listed hearing a public hearing will be held for: 2. Ordinance 2026-06 The purpose of this ordinance is to establish a onetime 6% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for both seasonal town employees, to establish a yearly 3% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for all town employees to begin in 2027, and to establish an hourly merit increase for the town clerk. The public is invited to attend and may give written or oral comments during the public hearings. All public hearing items will be discussed and/or approved during the Laketown Town Council meeting following these public hearing. On Friday, May 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM a copy of the foregoing notice was posted on the Utah Public Notice website at http://pmn.utah.gov and on the Laketown website at www.laketownutah.com. A copy was posted in conspicuous view inside and outside the Laketown Town Office in Laketown, Utah, and inside of the Laketown post office and at Dee's Service Station. DATED THIS 21st Day of May 2026 In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this public hearing should notify the Laketown Town Office at (435) 946-9000, 10 North 200 East, Laketown, Utah, on Monday and Wednesday at least three working days prior to the public hearing.
