public meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. (MDT), at 320 East Newel Avenue, Hildale City, Utah
84784.
Councilmembers may be participating electronically by video or telephone conference. Members of the public may
also watch the City of Hildale through the scheduled Zoom meeting.

Public Hearing:
6. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment on a Property Tax Increase. The Budget
Officer intends to state that Hildale City is considering a tax rate that exceeds the certified tax rate. The
approximate dollar amount is $208,403.80 for funding the Police Department and General Fund which is
a 170% increase in the city's property tax rate.
7. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment on the Tentative FY27 Budget.
8. Consider approval of the Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2027.9. Consideration and Possible Action to Set a Public Hearing to Receive Public Comment on the Proposed
Fiscal Year 2027 Budget.
