GRANTSVILLE CITY
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Grantsville City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of receiving public input on the following applications:
1. A proposed plat amendment to the Moody Acres Subdivision, located at approximately 415 South Worthington Street (parcel 16-057-0-0002). The amendment adjusts the configuration of an existing lot (parcel 01-070-0-0096) to better align with future right-of-way and access improvements without increasing density.
2. A proposed General Plan Amendment for parcels 01-071-0-0012, 01-074-0-0012, 01-074-0-0010, and 11-010-0-0002 (the Wellington Subdivision), consisting of approximately 113 acres located near Pear Street and Quirk Street, to change the land use designation from Low Density Residential to High Single-Family Density to allow for increased residential density and flexibility in subdivision design.
3. A proposed rezone of the same parcels from R-1-21 (Single-Family Residential, 21,000 square foot minimum lot size) to R-1-12 (Single-Family Residential, 12,000 square foot minimum lot size) for the Wellstone Subdivision, located near Pear Street and Quirk Street.
The public hearing will be held in person at Grantsville City Hall, located at 429 E. Main Street, Grantsville, Utah, 84029, and electronically via Zoom.

Written comments may also be submitted to the City Recorder, Alicia Fairbourne, at afairbourne@grantsvilleut.gov. All written comments will be distributed to the City Council and entered into the public record. To ensure consideration, comments must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the day of the meeting.
