Call meeting to order
Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance
Public Comment: Public participation (no action will be taken on any item until it is properly agendized). Citizens wishing to speak during public participation are asked to state their name for the record and limit comments to a minimal duration and/or for no longer than two (2) minutes.

Consent Agenda
All items listed under the Consent Agenda are considered routine and may be acted upon by the Board with one action and without general discussion or a hearing. Any member of the Board or any citizen may request that an item be taken from the Consent Agenda, discussed and acted upon separately during this meeting.

6:05pm - Commissioner Comments
6:10pm - Treasurer's Report
6:15pm - Clerk's Report
6:20pm - District Manager's Report, to include Dust, Snow, Facilities, Equipment, etc.; this is a report only and not for action.
6:30pm - Chief's Report, to include all Fire, EMS & Wildland operations; this is a report only and not for action.
6:40pm - Personnel Report: action may include approving and/ratifying personnel actions..
6:45pm - Firefighting/EMS: Action may include approving and/or ratifying repairs, purchase of new equipment, supplies or staffing needs, etc. and/or approving purchases specific to grant income. October proposals include: Leadership Training for 2 Captains in Moab utilizing grant money;
7:00pm - Wildland Report: Review Wildland season, discuss any equipment, supplies or staffing needs. Action may include approving purchases.
7:05pm - 2026 Budget Planning: Share updates from 9/24 budget planning meeting. Action may include approving the date for the posting of the 2026 draft budget, the public hearing and/or next steps for budgeting.
7:10pm - District Fees and Parcel Verification: review parcels to be included for District Fees, as well as verify approved District Fee amounts. Action may include approving parcels and fees for submission to the County.
7:15pm - Zion View Dust - Share any updates to Zion View Dust process; verify that a town hall will still be held on Saturday, October 4th at 10am.
7:25pm - Surplus Property: Discussion of recent offer for Swains Creek lots and next steps. Discussion of any other surplus property. Action may include approving/ratifying contract(s), pricing, disposition, etc. of property.
7:35pm - Policies and Procedures, SOPs, SOGs, EOGs: Review recommended updates for policies, procedures, SOPs, SOGs and/or EOGs as part of the ongoing review and updating of District Policies. Action may include approving SOP's, SOG's, EOG's and district policies.
7:45pm - USAD Convention
7:50pm - Snow Equipment: Review recommendation for additional snow removal equipment for the District. Action may include approving purchase of snow equipment.
7:55pm - Other Business
8:00pm - Closed Session, if needed, to discuss personnel or pending or reasonably imminent litigation.
8:15pm - Adjournment
