- Notice of Public Hearing for Petition of Annexation Date: November 8, 2023 Time: 6:30 p.m. Place: Kanosh Town Hall 55 North Main Kanosh, Utah 84637 Petition for the Robison Annexation (Parcel number K-1954-3) Annexation containing approximately ___ 0.65 __ acres, signed by Shaun P. Robison and Hayley Robison. To view the Petition for Annexation, legal descriptions and map please come to the Kanosh Town Offices, 55 North Main Street, Kanosh, UT 84673 or call 435-759- 2415 to request the information. The Petition for Annexation was filed with this office on June 14, 2023. I find that the petition meets the requirements for annexation as provided by Utah State law, (subsections 10-2-403 (2), (3) and (4), U.C.A.) The Kanosh Town Council received the Certification of the Petition for Annexation on August 9, 2023. The City Council may grant this annexation unless a written protest to the annexation petition is filed with the Millard County Boundary Commission at 50 South Main, Fillmore, UT 84631 and the Kanosh Town Recorder within 30 days after the notice of certification is received, which would be by September 25, 2023 . The legislative body or governing board of an affected entity may legally protest this annexation by filing as instructed above petition for the Robison Annexation (Parcel number K-1954-3) Annexation containing approximately ___ 0.65 __ acres, signed by Shaun P. To view the Petition for Annexation, legal descriptions and map please come to the Kanosh Town Offices, 55 North Main Street, Kanosh, UT 84673 or call 435-759-2415 to request the information. The Petition for Annexation was filed with this office on June 14, 2023 and was certified on August 9, 2023. THE CITY COUNCIL MAY GRANT THIS ANNEXATION UNLESS A WRITTEN PROTEST TO THE ANNEXATION PETITION IS FILED WITH THE MILLARD COUNTY BOUNDARY COMMISSION AT 50 SOUTH MAIN, FILLMORE, UT 84631 AND THE KANOSH TOWN RECORDER WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER THE NOTICE OF CERTIFICATION IS RECEIVED, WHICH WOULD BE BY OCTOBER 25, 2023 . The legislative body or governing board of an affected entity may legally protest this annexation by filing as instructed above. Posted this 27th day of September, 2023
