- AGENDA HUNTINGTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING August 16, 2023 Notice is hereby given that the Huntington City Council will hold its regularly scheduled council meeting August 16, 2023 at the city office building located at 20 South Main. Meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Agenda will be as follows: 6:30 P.M. Roll Call Opening Remarks Pledge of Allegiance 1. Public Comments (limit of 3 minutes) 2. MOTION: CONSENT AGENDA - Approval of July 19, 2023 City Council Minutes - City Claims and Review of Financials 3. MOTION: Business license 4. MOTION: Donation for Wee Bit Witches 5. MOTION: Proclamation on September 2023 to be annual Suicide month 6. MOTION: Ordinance 3-2023 correcting, inaccurate Utah code referenced in Ordinance 2-2023 Disposal of Significant Parcels of Real Property Owned by the City. 7. MOTION: Resolution 10-2023 Notice to unused burial plot owners 8. MOTION: Remove Tattoo Parlors from Definitions 9. Mayor's Report 10. Departmental Reports (Fire department, Maintenance department) 11. Youth City Council report 12. Council's Reports 13. Zoning Administrator Report 14. Adjournment Notice Provisions: Motions relating to any of the foregoing including final action may be taken at the meeting. The order of agenda items may change to accommodate the needs of the City Council, the staff, and the public. If necessary, executive session may be held in accordance with the Utah Code 52-4-205. CERTIFICATE OF POSTING The undersigned, duly appointed City Recorder, does hereby certify that the above notice and agenda were posted in three public places within the Huntington City limits. These public places being 1) Huntington City Hall; 2) Desertview Federal Credit Union; and 3) the U.S. Post Office. The public is invited to attend all city council meetings.
