Pledge of Allegiance and Opening Prayer, Reading or Expression of Thought: (Councilmember Phil Nelsen) b. Declaration of Conflicts of Interest c. Public Comments/Questions for the Mayor & Council (limited to 3 minutes) 6:05 P.M. 2. Consent Items. a. Minutes of July 25, 2023 (open & closed) and June 13, 2023 (2 closed sets). 6:10 P.M. 3. Pleasant View Pickleball Association (PVPA). Discussion regarding PVPA efforts and next steps for Pleasant View Park Pickleball Tournament Court Facilities in coordination with Pleasant View City (Presenters: Paul and Elaine Pitcher). 6:20 P.M. 4. Dump Truck. Discussion and consideration to surplus Dump Truck #2 1995 International from the fleet at auction with the purchase of a replacement Dump Truck with Plow in the amount of $253,152.09 from Rush International and Reading Truck. (Presenter: Tyson Jackson) 6:30 P.M. 5. Closed Meeting. Consideration for a closed meeting pursuant to one or more of the provisions of the Utah Open and Public Meetings Law, Utah Code ยง 52-4-205(1). 6. Other Business 7. Adjournment Public Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Pleasant View, Utah will hold a Public Meeting in the city office at 520 West Elberta Dr. in Pleasant View, Utah on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, commencing at 6:00 PM. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing auxiliary services for these meetings should call the Pleasant View City Office at 801-782-8529, at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. The City Council at its discretion may change the order and times of the agenda items.
