Call to Order and Roll Call (President or Acting President) a. Recognize public officials present. 2. Approval of Minutes and Agenda (President or Acting President) 3. Public Comment Period1 (President or Acting President) 4. Action items review (Stacey Wright) 5. Committee Report on Rapz Tax (By Cody Sorensen 6. Updates and or Continued Discussion and Consideration of developing Indoor Recreation opportunities in Nibley. (Chad Wright - Intro), Discussion led by: (President or Acting President) 7. Staff report regarding the status of Master Plans and Feasibility Studies: status of an update to the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, an Indoor Recreation Space RFP, and related City Hall and Public Works feasibility studies. Parks and Recreation Committee involvement and support for these plans will also be discussed. (Chad Wright) 8. Report on status of introducing Nibley City Council to the concept of a public private partnerships (PPP) for Indoor Recreation facilities: (Chad Wright) 9. Discussion, Consideration, and comments regarding the 60% Ridgeline Park design: introduction and presentation from committee member Kendal Welker, discussion led by President or Acting President) 10. Staff report on status of Committee Member Recruitment: (Chad Wright) 11. Staff report on Hyrum Park Access & Logan City Dog Park/Regional Park Open House: (Chad Wright) 12. Discussion and Consideration of gathering community support for a Parks and Recreation Bond initiative to create Indoor & or outdoor recreation spaces. (President or Acting President) 13. Discussion and Consideration of the advantages and disadvantages of the creation of a Special Service District to accommodate recreation our for our community and others. Chad Wright (Intro), Discussion led by President or Acting President 14. Discussion and Consideration of how to best support the city budgeting process as a committee. Including efforts to share regular feedback from the community and evaluating priorities for the Nibley City Council at upcoming meetings (by President or Acting President) 15. Committee member reports: community/public official interaction regarding Parks and Recreation and or other reports. (President or Acting President) 16. Discussion and Consideration of action Items, assignments moving forward (President or Acting President) 17. Next meeting will be April 26th (4th Wed) In compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities will be provided upon request. For assistance, please call (435) 752-0431. 1 Public input is welcomed at all Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee Meetings. 15 minutes have been allotted to receive verbal public comment. Verbal comments shall be limited to 3 minutes per person. A sign-up sheet is available at the entrance of the meeting, starting 15 minutes prior to each committee meeting and at the facilitators table for the duration of the public comment period. Commenters shall identify themselves by name and address on the comment form and or verbally for inclusion in the record. Comment will be taken in the order shown on the sign-up sheet. Written comment will also be accepted and entered into the record for the meeting if received prior to the conclusion of the meeting. Comments determined by the presiding officer to be in violation of Committee meeting rules shall be ruled out of order.
