- MAY GOVERNING BOARD MEETING AGENDA Utah Charter Academies May 25, 2023 Notice is hereby given that the monthly meeting of the Board of Directors of Utah Charter Academies will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. at American Preparatory Academy located at 12894 S Pony Express Ln., Unit 600, Draper, UT, 84020, or electronically at https://meet.google.com/jma-kwro-ono. All board meeting materials can be found by clicking on the links within the attached agenda. CALL TO ORDER - 5 minutes Welcome PRESENTATIONS AND COMMENTS - 10 minutes Public Comment: The public is invited to make comment. This may be done during the meeting or may be submitted in writing prior to the meeting via regular mail or email to publiccomment@apamail.org. Board Training - Governance Policies CONSENT AGENDA - 5 minutes *Consent agenda items are items that do not require discussion. If any of the below require discussion, a motion may be made to move the item from the consent agenda. Recommended motion: To approve the May 4, 2023 Consent Agenda Minutes from May 4, 2023 Governance Policies BOARD BUSINESS - 30 minutes Fraud Risk Assessment - Brief (Lisa Brunson) Requested motion: To approve the submission of the completed FY23 Fraud Risk Assessment as presented. Wellness Policies (Kate York) Requested motion: To approve the Wellness Policies as presented. Board composition (Ted Heap) Graduation Attendance West Valley 3 is June 3rd at 10:00 am (Ted Heap) Draper 3 is June 3rd at 2:00 pm (Thomas Young) FY24 Budget - Final Budget public posting by June 1, adopted by board by June 30, 2024. FY24 Capital Projects Budget Final review - no motion needed. MANAGEMENT COMPANY REPORT - 30 minutes Management Accountability Report (Carolyn Sharette) AGENDA ITEMS FOR FUTURE MEETINGS - 5 minutes Next Meeting June 22, 2023 Annual Compliance Assurances ADJOURNMENT
