- Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Genola will hold a public meeting in the public safety building located at 455 N. Main on the above date. The Council meeting will commence at 7:00 p.m. This will be a public meeting where action may be taken on the agenda items. The agenda for the Council meeting will be as follows: 1. Call to Order a. Opening Prayer b. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Approval of Minutes for January 18th, 2023 3. Approval of Expenditures Total Expenditures: $ 1,017,618.18 Anderson Law Center: $ 4,700.00 Aaron Wise: $ 500.00 Bankcard Center: $ 3,545.51 Dale Cox: $ 240,711.95 Ferrellgas: $ 2,610.12 Franson Civil Engineers: $ 26,360.86 Fuel Cards: $ 802.01 John Cowan: $ 1,215.00 Lang Equipment: $ 718,694.43 Manny Escoto: $ 500.00 Mountainland Supply: $ 522.16 Payson City: $ 681.91 Pelorus Methods: $ 1,050.00 Propane Network: $ 2,215.39 Rocky Mountain Power: $ 1,195.80 Santaquin City: $ 10,564.36 Utah State Treasurer: $ 1,718.68 4. Approval of a Work Order to pay $500.00 to the AFG Grant Writer who is helping write a grant to help with the purchase of a new fire engine. 5. Recognition of Greg Smith for his 40 years of service in the Genola Fire Department. 6. Commission & Staff Reports Police Chief Report Town Council Regular Meeting Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 7:00 pm Page 1 Fire Chief Report Planning Commission Report Public Forum Audience members may bring any item not on the agenda to the Mayor and Council's attention. Comments will be limited to a maximum of five (5) minutes at the discretion of the Mayor. State Law prohibits the Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. New Business 7. The Miss Genola Contestants will present their service projects that will be carried out if they win. The Miss Genola pageant is to be held on March 18 , 2023, at Goshen Elementary School. 8. Introduction of the new recreation director Kathleen Banfill and a discussion and possible action on the need to raise the fee for field use by other cities and towns. 9. Discussion and possible action on the status of the tank and well project budget and costs. 10. Discussion and possible action on the Election this year and if Genola will be doing rank choice voting. 11. Discussion and possible action on the arena agreement with the rope club. Chad Coburn said the rope club has no changes from the previous year. 12. Motion to Adjourn The Town Council may exercise their right under Utah Code Annotated, 52-4-207, to convene and conduct an electronic meeting. To discuss the pending or reasonably imminent litigation, and/or purchase, exchange, or lease of real property) The Town will provide reasonable accommodations for anyone attending this meeting.
