Call to Order - 7:30 AM **Information Item** Rusty Vetter, Chair, will call the meeting to order. 2. Citizen Public Comment - 7:30-7:35 AM **Information Item** The Chair will manage the public comments, which are typically limited to 2-3 minutes per person. Individuals must identify themselves when speaking. Any individual unable to comment during the allotted time may submit comments to the Board of Health at [boh@saltlakecounty.gov](mailto:boh@saltlakecounty.gov). 3. Approval of Minutes - 7:35-7:40 AM **Action Item** The Board will consider approval of the minutes from the August 6, 2026, Board of Health Meeting. 4. Chair's Report - 7:40-7:45 AM **Information/Action Item** Rusty Vetter, Chair, will update the Board on any items and/or activities of interest. 5. Director's Report - 7:45-8:00 AM **Information/Action Item** Dorothy Adams, Executive Director, will update the Board on Health Department related items and/or activities of interest. 6. Health Regulation #1, Solid Waste Management and Permitting - 8:00-8:10 AM **Information/Action Item** Ron Lund, Division Director, and Hayley Shaffer, Environmental Health Supervisor, will update the Board on Health Regulation #1, *Solid Waste Management and Permitting*, and ask the Board to open the regulation for a thirty (30) day public comment period and assign a hearing officer. 7. Health Regulation #22, Vehicle Emissions Control Program - 8:10-8:20 AM **Information/Action Item** Dan Moore, Enforcement Coordinator, and Matthias Neville, Environmental Health Bureau Manager, will update the Board on Health Regulation #22, *Vehicle Emissions Control Program*, and ask the Board to open the regulation for a thirty (30) day public comment period and assign a hearing officer. 8. Fee Schedule - 8:20-8:30 AM **Information/Action Item** Dorothy Adams, Executive Director, will present the proposed fee changes. The Board may take action on the proposed changes. 9. 2027 Budget - 8:30-8:45 AM **Information/Action Item** Patrick Smith, Health Department Fiscal Manager, will present the proposed 2027 department budget and ask the Board to approve the proposed budget. 10. Potential Closed Session to Discuss Pending or Reasonably Imminent Litigation - 8:45-9:00 AM **Action Item** The Board may adjourn to a potential closed session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation. 11. Reconvene and Close - 9:00 AM **Information/Action Item** The Board will reconvene in open session, may take action related to matters discussed in the closed session, and adjourn the meeting.
