- PUBLIC NOTICE UINTAH ANIMAL CONTROL & SHELTER SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Public Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing of the Uintah Animal Control and Shelter Special Service District has been scheduled for Thursday, June 11th, 2026, at 4:10 p.m., in the North Conference Room of the Uintah County Building at 152 East 100 North in Vernal, Utah for the purpose of receiving input regarding the FY 2026 Budget Re-Opener #1. Budgets to be considered during the Public Hearing can include Animal Control, Shelter, Wages, Animal District Board, General Fund, Capitol Project Fund and other Special Funds. All interested persons shall be given the opportunity to be heard. Budget documents may be reviewed at the District's Shelter office, 1387 East 335 South Vernal, Utah 84078. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this hearing should notify Devin Cobb at 1387 East 335 South, Vernal, Utah 84078: 1-435-781-7297.
