State St. Ste 330, SLC, UT 84111 Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission Capacity Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 beginning at approximately 2:00 P.M. You may attend the meeting at the anchor location: the CWC office located in the Brighton Bank building, 311 S. State Street Ste. 330, or virtually by registering at the below link. Please note that after registering, you will receive an email containing a meeting access link. https://us06web.zoom.us/j/87599928066 Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the above-referenced meeting. The agenda for that meeting is accessible here: Utah Public Notice Website, the anchor location, The Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News. Civility and decorum should be applied in all discussions and debate. Difficult questions, tough challenges to a point of view, and criticism of ideas and information are legitimate elements of a free democracy in action. Public officials and the public are encouraged to refrain from making belligerent, personal, impertinent, slanderous, threatening, abusive, or disparaging comments. 2:00 P.M. Opening 1. Chair Roger Bourke will open the public meeting as Chair of the Capacity Committee of the Central Wasatch Commission. 2. Review and approval of the minutes of the June 8, 2026 meeting. 2:05 P.M. Purpose and Need Discussion 1. Committee members will discuss their purpose and need statements from the poll. 2. Committee members will set a purpose and need for the Capacity Committee. 2:40 P.M. Desired Outcome Discussion 1. Committee members will discuss their desired outcome statements from the poll. 2. Committee members will agree upon a desired outcome for the Capacity Committee. 3. Posted on the Utah Public Notice Website created under UTAH CODE ANN. 63A-16-601; 2. Posted at the meeting's anchor location at 311 S. State St. Suite 330, Salt Lake City, UT; 3. Posted at the office of the governing body of each member entity of the CWC; and 4. Provided to the Salt Lake Tribune and/or Deseret News and to a local media correspondent. The audio recording and transcript of the meeting will be posted for public review. Commissioners will/may participate electronically. Meetings may be closed for reasons allowed by statute. Final action may be taken in relation to any topic listed on the agenda, including but not limited to adoption, rejection, amendment, addition of conditions and variations of options discussed.
