- Notice is hereby given The Mayor and City Council of Helper City, A Municipal Corporation will hold a regular meeting on the 2nd day of July 2026. At the Council Chambers 19 South Main, Helper, Utah. The meeting shall begin at 6:00 p.m. Agenda 1- Call to order. 2- Pledge of Allegiance. 3- Roll call. 4- Public Comment. 5- Approval of the minutes from the June 18, 2026 council meeting and the June 26, 2026 special meeting. 6- Discussion and possible approval of appointing a Library Board Member. 7- Discussion and possible approval of appointing a Planning and Zoning Board Member. 8- Discussion and possible approval of closing Main Street from the Public Works parking lot to the Post Office on Saturday, Sept. 26 for Heart for Helper event. 9- Discussion and possible approval of local area consent for Heart for Helper event Saturday, Sept. 26. 10- Discussion and possible approval of closing Helper Main Street and rescinding Noise Ordinance on July 31 for the Legends After Dark 3-on-3 Fundraiser Tournament for Carbon High School. 11- Discussion and possible approval of Resolution 2026-11, A Resolution Updating Garbage Rates. 12- Discussion and possible approval of purchasing Wi-Fi hotspots for the Police Department patrol vehicles. 13- Discussion and possible approval of pursuing the COPS Hiring Program grant through the USDOJ. Reports only from Council Members and Department Heads. Possible closed session. Adjournment I, Traci Bishop, Helper City Recorder, do hereby certify the above notice and agenda was posted on the 30th day of June 2026 at City Hall, helpercity.gov, and the Utah Public Notice Website. The agenda was provided to the media at least 24 hours before such a meeting.
