- PARK CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION Park City School District Office 2700 Kearns Boulevard May 19, 2026 Regular Session 3:00 p.m. Additional information is available the Monday before each meeting at: http://www.boarddocs.com/ut/pcsd/Board.nsf/public Time allocated to each agenda item is approximate and subject to change. The Board may vote to meet in closed session for any of the purposes set forth in Section 52-4-205 of Utah's Open and Public Meetings Act Board members may be participating by telephone. AGENDA 1 Call to Order Pledge of Allegiance 2 Closed Session The Board will adjourn to Closed Session for the purpose of: a. Strategy session to discuss collective bargaining b. A strategy session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation c. Discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual, personnel 3 Discussion 3.1 Construction Update JD Simmons, Sr. Project Manager, MOCA, will share a brief update with the Board regarding construction projects and timelines. 3.2 Curriculum Adoption Dr. Jaclyn Knapp will present the Social Skills Curriculum for consideration. 3.3 School Highlight Caleb Fine, Park City High School Principal, will share some highlights from the school. 3.4 Sister City Presentation Principal Fine will provide the Board with an overview of the Sister City Program. 3.5 Budget Presentation Randy Upton, Business Administrator, will present an overview of the FY27 budget. 3.6 Adjusted Release Time Superintendent Huntsman will review a proposal for an adjustment to release time on Friday afternoons. 3.7 Middle School Sports Chris Baer and Max Valverde will present City League and Middle School Sports. 4 Consent Agenda Regular Session Minutes of April 7, 2026 Closed Session Minutes of April 7, 2026 Travel Requests Health Assurances Approval Rocky Mountain Easement PCMC Easement Tango Aviation Curriculum Contract Approval REV Robotics Contract Cyber.org Contract Switch EV Battery Lab Contract Trailside Elementary Land Trust Amendment Personnel Board Revenue and Expenditures of April 2026 5 Public Comment (5:00 PM) The Board of Education wants to hear live input from community members at our meetings. In order to respect and preserve the time allotted to each presenter on the agenda, each speaker will be limited to three (3) minutes. Speakers representing a group will be limited to five (5) minutes. 6 Monthly Reports Monthly reports will include relevant district level reports in addition to: Student on the Board Employee Group Reports 7 Decision 7.1 Board Meeting Calendar The Board will adopt the Board Meeting Calendar for the FY27 school year. 7.2 FY27 Calendar Superintendent Huntsman will discuss possible changes to the FY27 calendar. 7.3 Adjusted Release Time After reviewing the information provided by Superintendent Huntsman, the Board may make a decision to adjust the Friday release time for the 26/27 school year. 8 Policies for Posting The following policies have been reviewed by the Policy Committee and are now before the Board for posting. Policy 7097 Nepotism Policy 7160 Orderly Termination Policy 9025 Wellness 9 Adjourn Notice: This meeting will be recorded (video and audio) and made available for one year on the district website (www.pcschools.us). In compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Lorie Pearce at 435-615-0225, at least three working days prior to the meeting.
