- WALLSBURG TOWN COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027 PROPOSED BUDGET June 4, 2026 - 7 pm 1. Call to Order Expected 7:00 pm a. Roll Call 2. Agenda Item: The purpose of the meeting is to hear public comment and answer questions regarding finalizing the Wallsburg Town Fiscal Year 2026 (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026) Budget and the Fiscal Year 2027 (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027) Proposed Budget. All interested persons may attend. 3. Adjourn a. Time: WALLSBURG TOWN COUNCIL MONTHLY MEETING AGENDA June 4, 2026 - Directly Following Public Hearing 1. Call to Order Expected around 7:30 pm a. Pledge of Allegiance b. Prayer/Inspiration Thought c. Roll Call 2. Consent Calendar: Be it hereby moved that the following consent calendar items stand approved: a. Agenda of the June 4, 2026 Town Council Meeting b. Minutes of the May 7, 2026 Town Council Meeting 3. Approve Budget a. May Budget and check register (and any questions) 4. Public Comment (5 minutes): This is the public's opportunity to comment on items that are NOT on the agenda. Please come up to the table, state your name and address before making a comment, and speak loudly to assure comments are recorded properly. If you have specific questions or comments regarding items that ARE on the agenda, please contact the Wallsburg Town Council or Clerk after the meeting has adjourned. 5. Agenda Items: a. Main Canyon Road Project, CDBG Application Updates - Information and Discussion Only i. Troy Ostler (CivCo Engineering) will discuss status of Main Canyon Road Phase II & 2025 CDBG applications b. Homeschool Co-Op Town Hall Rental for 2026-2027 School Year - Action Item i. Discuss and vote on agreement for the Homeschool Co-Op rental of the Town Hall for the upcoming school year. c. Adopt Fiscal Year 2026 Budget - Action Item i. Following completion of budget review held May 14th 2026 and public hearing held June 4th 2026 by the Wallsburg Town Council, it is hereby recommended that the Fiscal Year 2027 budget be adopted (as proposed) or (with the following changes: _________________). d. Building Permit Approval Letters - Action Item i. Wallsburg Town Planning Commission has reviewed and determined that a request from Cole Bigelow to build a home at 10 West Main Canyon Road meets the stipulations and requirements of the Wallsburg Town development code, and hereby recommends to the Wallsburg Town Council that a building permit approval letter be issued. ii. Vote to accept Planning Commission recommendation and issue building permit approval letter or continue for further discussion. 6. Department Reports a. To discuss continued agenda items, assignments i. Buildings (Peter Nielsen) v. Water (Rohn Hortin) *Water Project Update ii. Roads (Peter Nielsen) vi. Mayor (Celeni Richins) iii. Cemetery (Mary Piscitelli) vii. Clerk (Alisha O'Driscoll) iv. Park (Terri Eisel) b. Call for Agenda items for June Town Council Work Meeting (Expected June 18, 2026) c. Call for Agenda items for July Town Council Meeting (Expected July 9, 2026) *No Work Meeting In July 7. Adjourn a. Time
