- Edith Bowen Laboratory School Governing Board Meeting Agenda April 16, 2026 Notice is hereby given that the Edith Bowen Laboratory School Governing Board will hold a board meeting on Apr. 16, 2026, at 3:30 pm in the EBLS Collaboratory (rm 233). Please email carolina.harward@usu.edu if you would like to make a public comment at this meeting. ___________________________________________________________________ 1. WELCOME & CALL TO ORDER a. Roll call 2. CONSENT ITEMS a. Approve board meeting minutes from Mar. 19, 2026 meeting 3. BUSINESS MANAGER REPORT a. Monthly summary (Jennifer Barton) 4. PUBLIC COMMENT Public Comment is time for the public to give input to the board but is not a discussion time. Comments are limited to 3 minutes per individual. Individuals wishing to make a presentation to the board may request placement on the agenda by contacting the board secretary (carolina.harward@usu.edu) or chairman (steven.camicia@usu.edu). Administrative items, those regarding the day-to-day operation of the school, may be referred to the school director for resolution. Individuals who have previously met with the school director and still have concerns should feel free to participate in the public comment portion of the meeting. 5. REGULATORY & STATUTORY COMPLIANCE a. School Safety and Anti-Bullying policies (Nate Justis) i. Updates regarding 3rd party review and policy revisions (Chris Woodward) b. State LAND Trust (Nate Justis) i. Vote on School Land Trust plan for SY27 with council signature page c. Appoint election committee with board approval (Steven Camicia) d. Discuss adopting a digital Student Intervention Early Warning System (Nate Justis) 6. SCHOOL REPORTS a. Principal's report (Nate Justis) i. Highlights 7. ADJOURN The public is welcome to attend the Edith Bowen Laboratory School Board Meetings.
