- Notice is hereby given The Mayor and City Council of Helper City, A Municipal Corporation will hold a regular meeting on the 5th day of March 2026. At the Council Chambers 19 South Main, Helper, Utah. The meeting shall begin at 6:00 pm. Agenda 1- Call to order. 2- Pledge of Allegiance. 3- Roll call. 4- Public Comment. 5- Approval of the minutes from the February 5th, 2026 meeting and the February 20th, 2026 special meeting. 6- Discussion and possible appointment of Library Board member. 7- Discussion and possible appointment of Planning & Zoning Board member. 8- Discussion on fire hazards on Helper City property. - Chief Montoya. 9- Discussion and possible approval of moving to a StarCard program with Skaggs regarding the police department uniform allowance. - Chief Draper. 10- Discussion and possible approval of appointing Property Agent 11- Discussion and possible approval adopting Resolution 2026-01 Supporting America250 Utah and recognizing and approving of the America Utah250 Potluck Committee, as well as closing Main Street from the park to Depot St. on July 5, 2026 for America250 Potluck Event from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. 12- Discussion and possible approval adopting Resolution 2026-02 Designating Temporary Recorder Duties. 13- Discussion and possible approval adopting Resolution 2026-03 Amending the Use Rates for the Auditorium. 14- Discussion and possible approval regarding headstone dimensions in Mountain View Cemetery. - Betty Burkett. 15- Discussion and possible approval of purchasing fertilizer for the parks and cemetery. - Public Works. 16- Discussion and possible approval of renting a vacuum trailer for one week. - Public Works 17- Discussion and possible approval of discounted auditorium rate through May for Helper Cheer. 18- Discussion and possible approval of pursuing a Federal Community Project Funding Request for Police Vehicles and Fire Equipment. 19- Discussion and possible approval of intent to surplus Helper City property. Reports only from Council Members and Department Heads. Possible closed session. Adjournment: I, Shaley Vasquez, Helper City Deputy Recorder, do hereby certify the above notice and agenda was posted on the 3rd day of March 2026 at City Hall, helpercity.gov, and the Utah Public Notice Website. The agenda was provided to the media at least 24 hours before such a meeting.
