- Town Maintenance and Water Operator QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience in facility maintenance, water operator Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in an ever-changing environment Familiarity with safety protocols and basic maintenance Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, work in various environments and perform physical tasks as required Tractor, forklift and equipment operation experience Valid driver's license is required and CDL is a plus JOB SUMMARY: The Town Maintenance and Water Operator will ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our city buildings and grounds including cemetery, ball eld and parks. Water operator will need to be certi ed with Cross Connection Control and in charge of installing and upkeep of all water meters. The ideal candidate will need to have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Hours: Full time. Pay depending on experience.
