- The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting February 24, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Utah. Call to Order-Mayor 1. Opening Ceremony- By Invitation Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer- 2. Roll Call - City Recorder 3. Consent Agenda - Mayor Claims Register: Dated 02/07/2026 to 02/20/2026 in the amount of $210,464.46 Approval of Minutes: February 10, 2026, Regular City Council Minutes February 12, 2026, City Council Annual Leadership Retreat Minutes 4. Public Comment Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door prior to the start of the meeting. Participation is limited to three minutes. Each participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 5. Business/Action Items a. Purchases & Requisitions i. Requisition #022605 to RH Borden in the amount of $47,232.00 to Assess and inspect sewer lines- Colter Allen ii. Requisition #202606 to Funtime Inflatables in the amount of $8,000 for 4th of July bounce house entertainment-Debbie James iii. Ratification of Emergency Requisitions (if any) b. Consideration for and Adoption of a Parameter Resolution #2026-02 A Resolution Authorizing the Issuance of Street Improvement Revenue Bonds of Mt. Pleasant City, Sanpete County, Utah, and Calling of a Public Hearing to Receive Input with Respect to the Issuance of Such Bonds and Any Potential Impact to the Private Sector from the Construction of the Project. c. Approval of Recommendation from Planning & Zoning: 1. ORDINANCE #2026-03 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16 OF TITLE 10 OF THE MOUNT PLEASANT MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH A MEDIUM-HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL OVERLAY ZONE 2. ORIDNANCE #2026-04 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RESTATING IN ITS ENTIRETY SECTION 030, CHAPTER 16 OF TITLE 10 OF THE MOUNT PLEASANT MUNICIPAL CODE TO AMEND THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY ZONE d. Consideration and Possible Adoption of an Ordinance #2026-05 An Ordinance Delegating Authority to the Fire Chief to Implement State Fireworks Restrictions Within Mt. Pleasant City e. Approval of Alcohol Sales Permit for Corn Hole Tournament Fundraiser Benefiting the Veterans Memorial- Councilman Keisel 6. Reports Council Reports Staff Reports Mayor Report 7.
